What we do

The site is built with semantic HTML, works with a keyboard, keeps text contrast legible in both the light and dark themes, and respects your system's reduced-motion setting: every animation on the site switches off when you ask your device for less movement. Decorative images are marked as decorative; meaningful ones carry descriptions.

The target

We aim for WCAG 2.2 AA. That is a target we test against, not a certificate we hold. Where we miss it, we treat the miss as a bug, not a backlog item.

When something is in the way

If any part of this site doesn't work with your setup, whether that is a screen reader, a switch or magnification, email hello@kylebehrend.com and say which page and what got in the way. Fixes for access problems usually ship within days.
